I have been drawing, painting, and doing all kinds of other creative things since I was a young child. In first grade I won a contest with my crayon drawing of singing bluebirds flying through a cheerful orangey sky. While I don’t do art with crayons any longer, I create pieces from just about any medium you can think of from traditional paints to recycled items to textiles and paper.

Many of my pieces are inspired by my other hobbies and interests - genealogy, antiques, old architecture, reading, knitting, languages, travel, and various sports.

I am always thrilled when a friend or family member requests something! I love the challenge of finding the right colors, the desired expression, the perfect collection of materials, or sometimes even a hidden something special that I hope they will find in time.
